Change Is Good

So my family and I have decided that since change is always good, then we should change the way we eat. No, we are not health fanatics but we have always cooked CHICKEN!! Why? It’s cheaper – well at least for us it is. We have baked it, fried it, barbecued it, grilled it, boiled it…you name it and we have probably prepared it in that way. Although chicken is not the only meat we’ve used, it is the one that we cook the most.

Anyway, long story short, we started using the Knorr Rice Sides a few months ago and since they have always been a winner at our dinner table, it was an easy decision for us (well me – the pictures on those packages look so delicious) to give the recipes on the back a shot.

First up, the “Honey Mustard Pork Chops & Rice”…it was a hit! Sorry, I do not have pictures for this one since I didn’t think about documenting this new meal thing at the time. However, I do have the original recipe. Check it out here–>  http://www.knorr.com/recipes/detail/11741/1/honey-mustard-pork-chops-rice

This particular recipe was chosen as a trial for two reasons: (1) we would not be eating chicken and (2) if they liked the change then it would be the introduction of some new family meals. To be honest, I felt good – I mean really good- seeing them act like vultures for this new dish. This was the first of many more to come.
